oh and also make sure to use an oil free moisterizer so u wont get break outs and using a moisterizer is alos really imporatnt cuz if ya dont,ur skin starts producing all this oil (to compinsate for the dryness) which clogs pores,and causes acne. i also heard using a good moisterizer daily will help reduce wrinkles in the future.
i don't see any dis advantages in using a moisterizer.

Hey.. I had the same problem. You need a facail moisturizer that is not oil free. It wont make you break out though becuase this is a non comedogenic ( wont clog pores) moisturizers. Use Ponds facail moisturizer ( its called Ponds dry skin cream) and smere a dime to a quarter size all over your face, and an additional pea size under your eyes and above them. It will fix the problem. If you are using an acne cleanser, stop using that becuase it can contribute to the problem. You should also buy a good facail cleanser, I reccomend Olay Moisture Rich Cream cleanser. Both are a great combination and you can ge them at drugstore.com or at your local foodstore or drugstore. Your skin needs moiture and hydration Trust me, this is the key. I hope this helps you!!!!!!

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)
Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)
Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a ';little'; honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)
Use about 1 teaspoon of every oil, and 1 teaspoon of the honey. A little more if ur hair is long and a little less if ur hair is short.
Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!
The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower. I use Clean Happy from Herbal Essences.

I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.
I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.
I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

With combination skin you have to be careful! I also have combo skin. I usually use something like a mosturizer for normal skin. Some companies (Mary Kay) do make a special lotion for combo skin. If you have combo skin a deep moisturizer may make you more oily. I would suggest using it anywhere but your face to start and see how your skin reacts to it otherwise you might break out with a face full of pimples!

My wife answered this question as she uses Dove night moisturiser, she said it's perfectly safe to use, if you have any doubts, then use a jar of ';Nivea cream In a blue jar'; that's good too! Have a great day.

If the oil you get is not THICK then it's not REAL vitamin E oil. A bottle the size of a nail polish bottle can cost about $5 but it works wonders! The 2 best things I have found is-don't LOL-Utter Cream and then Avo Juice. Utter Cream is what is used to lube the utters on a cow. It is really good and you can get it at Wal-Mart. It is in a plastic container that is white with black spots. (Looks kinda like the Gateway symbol). Avo Juice comes in many different fragrances and you can buy it at most any beauty supply store i.e. Sally's or O.P.I. When ever you apply the lotion or cream wear a pair of hose or tube socks. It helps hold in the moisture.

Hydrocortisone blocks allergic/immune skin reactions which trigger eczematous rashes, and can speed healing of inflamed and cracked skin regardless of the cause. Hydrocortisone is probably the strongest anti-itching cream available, only use a thin layer as it thins the actual skin so you run the risk of tears if applying too much of it. Furthermore, don't use it on the face unless instructed to do so by your doctor.

go to walmart and get a skin cream called aquaphor. my mom had really cracked skin on her hands to the point they were bleeding and she used this stuff and it was gone within a matter of days!

Try getting a Humidifier to run in your home and when taking a shower I pat dry with the towel instead of wiping dry...it works for making my skin less itchy during the Winter Months and may help you with some of the pain.

Nothing else ever worked at healing up my skin until I tried this.
I know this sort of sounds like an ad for this product, but I really wish someone had told me about this long before I finally found out about it. I hated all of the suffering I went through up until then.
My skin used to be like that. It turned out I was reacting to a lot of the stuff they put in mosturizer. This included ';natural'; ingredients like aloe vera and herbs.
Try hypoallergenic, non comidogenic mosturizer, and washing with a mosturizing cleaner like Cetaphil (or its generic equivalent). If this is the problem you should see improvement in less than a week.
Actually, Cetaphil can be used as a moisturizer as well as a cleaner, so just try that before you run out and buy the moisturizers.
Take a lot of vegetables especially uncooked. Avoid non veg as far as possible.

If your skin is dry and cracked, the problem might come from the inside: Do you drink enough water? If you do not hydrate your insides it will end up showing on the outside. Drink plenty of water (not juice) it will keep your skin healthy.
In the meantime, try to find Sesame Seed Oil (not the brown one but the yellow unroasted one) and put a little in your bath water. Also apply before going to bed and wear an old pair of pj's (it has a tendency to stain like any oil) In just a couple of days you will see a huge difference. Sesame seed Oil is the oil containing most Vitamin A, and works on problems as severe as eczema. Besides it is priced right and a little goes a long way. It's also good as a treatment for dry and brittle hair (applied heated and kept on your hair for about 20 minutes under a plastic bag).

Nothing else ever worked at healing up my skin until I tried this.
I know this sort of sounds like an ad for this product, but I really wish someone had told me about this long before I finally found out about it. I hated all of the suffering I went through up until then.
My skin used to be like that. It turned out I was reacting to a lot of the stuff they put in mosturizer. This included ';natural'; ingredients like aloe vera and herbs.
Try hypoallergenic, non comidogenic mosturizer, and washing with a mosturizing cleaner like Cetaphil (or its generic equivalent). If this is the problem you should see improvement in less than a week.
Actually, Cetaphil can be used as a moisturizer as well as a cleaner, so just try that before you run out and buy the moisturizers.
Take a lot of vegetables especially uncooked. Avoid non veg as far as possible.

If your skin is dry and cracked, the problem might come from the inside: Do you drink enough water? If you do not hydrate your insides it will end up showing on the outside. Drink plenty of water (not juice) it will keep your skin healthy.
In the meantime, try to find Sesame Seed Oil (not the brown one but the yellow unroasted one) and put a little in your bath water. Also apply before going to bed and wear an old pair of pj's (it has a tendency to stain like any oil) In just a couple of days you will see a huge difference. Sesame seed Oil is the oil containing most Vitamin A, and works on problems as severe as eczema. Besides it is priced right and a little goes a long way. It's also good as a treatment for dry and brittle hair (applied heated and kept on your hair for about 20 minutes under a plastic bag).

I use it on my face as a spot treatment for little lines or in a pinch when I don't have anything else.
Sometimes I add some water to it so it's not so thick. If you have really dry skin I suppose it would be ok, but Nivea is kind of waxy, it might clog your pores.

SPF 15 is good enough but if you want extra protection I'd recommend SPF 30. Olay makes an SPF 30 also but it's a little more expensive and thicker than the 15. I have both. The 30 irritates my sensitive skin a little more than the 15 does so that's why I usually stick with the 15.

SPF 15 is good enough but if you want extra protection I'd recommend SPF 30. Olay makes an SPF 30 also but it's a little more expensive and thicker than the 15. I have both. The 30 irritates my sensitive skin a little more than the 15 does so that's why I usually stick with the 15.

Instead, the dermatologist can ';paint'; you with a chemical that destroys the melanin (or skin color agent that makes you darker) and you just appear ';pink'; or white depending on what your true color is. Mine is a healthy pink. I'm not about to waste my life spending hour after hour in front of a mirror trying to reach places and hope I get them. And I doubt someone like he would either. Just go to a dermatologist and get it over with if its that bad.
Now that I'm painted, no one can tell I've ever had it. I just have to stay out of the sun because I can never tan, it just burns and peels. I'll never ';brown'; again.

Being Asian, I really, really adore fair skin. I use some sort of Shiseido makeup base. It's like a pure white primer that you mix into your foundation to make it either lighter or darker. Make sure to blend it really well into your jawline and neck so that you don't look fake. Afterwards, apply a translucent powder to make your foundation stay smoother and longer, and also to make your skin seem more porcelain.

If you have any liquids / creams / pastes / gels they have to be put in a plastic bags that is 20cm x 20cm, thats 1 litres space.
They have to be under 100mls in size. If they are above that you can't take it through security.
1 litre bag should be plenty. You don't need to put any make up thats not liquid in it - so no eye shadows, compact etc - just mascaras, lipgloss (lipstick is a solid) moisturizers.
Its not an aer lingus thing, its an airport security thing as set down by the EU.
It easiest if you have them in a bag before you come. Dublin airport charges 鈧? for 2 plastic bags so its best to bring your own.
If you have any questions ask any security staff at the aiport or customer service agents (in the pink t-shirts)

Years ago, when I was in England, a beautician gave me a small sample jar of a thick lavender based cream to ease wind-burned skin. I remember that it was a French name but that's it. I had googled them years ago %26amp; found the website but lost it since.

I don't think it will do any harm to use moisturisers but do not believe the claims of cosmetic companies when it comes to anti aging etc. They spend billions on employing filmstars and models to promote these products when the contents cost pennies to make and have not proven to be of any effect. In the moisturiser it is silicones that make your skin feel soft. I have managed to get the same effect by washing my hands in pure dimethicone, one of the materials used in creams. My hands felt silky smooth.
I would start in my twenties using moisturizer everyday and then progress from there as you age. It is never too early to moisturize! NEVER!

They have a 2-3 year shelf life un-opened, if stored correctly, (out of direct sunlight %26amp; away from heat) and should be used up within 6 months of opening. With high street products that use high level preservatives, you will get a bit longer.
All products made within the last year now have a shelf life indicator on the back of the product, this indicates your shelf life from time of opening.
Once a product has been opened, air gets in it %26amp; bacteria start to multiply. Contamination will be worse if it is a pot where you have put your fingers in, as opposed to a pump or tube. In a salon we always use a clean spatula to remove product from tubs.
If products have a strange smell or texture or they have seperated, it's time to throw them out.
I would definitely recommend throwing out your product, not only will it not be doing you any good, as the essential oils will have deteriorated, but you could be causing your skin problems.

Effective cosmetic or cream to smooth wrinkles on laugh lines?
I'm 56, and I've been lucky with regard to forehead and eyes as I have only a few minor and barely visible wrinkles. By contrast, on each side of my mouth, I have deep laugh lines. I know I've earned them from plenty of smiling, but I really don't like them. I may eventually look into botox, but I've read of cosmetics or creams which fill in these lines temporarily. I want something like this, but when I search online, there are tons. Many of them cost from $55.00 to $150.00 and I don't have that kind of money to experiment. My friends tell me that they tried some and they warned, ';Do not overly smile after using the product';. LOL!
