Can you use creams/cosmetics past their exp date?

If a creme expires at a certain date or it says 12 or 24M, which means one or two years, and you keep using it for a few months after that date, but no longer than a few months, will you still be okay?





I doubt the stuff morphs into manure at the strike of 12 on the expiration date. lol.








Does it just lose its potency, or does it stop working altogether and go through changes?

You can still use it but it won't have always give you the results you would normally get. After time the chemicals tend to break down so its not as strong any more.
