I recently started getting mild psoriasis. Its really embarrassing because everyone asks me what it is and I always feel like I have to cover up. I dont have insurance so I cant go to the doctor for treatment. Does cortisone cream help?Does cortisone cream help with psoriasis?
Cortisone cream is a mild steroid and helps psoriasis in most cases. Steroids, however, is not the best choice to deal with psor. because they carry side-effects and thin out the skin. So use this cream sparingly and try to find something natural that works for you. Google ';natural remedies for psoriasis'; and take your pick. Many of those won't do any good, but some will work. I personally find herbal ointment by Champori clearing my psoriasis faster than anything else.

I am so sorry you do not have health insurance as I do not either and my daughter has psoriasis and cortisone cream helps only if your skin is itchy. I wish all of us could have health insurance here in America as in Canada they have health insurance for everyone. My daughter lives there in Canada as she went to college there and met a nice man and is married,
No. I know people with psoriasis and dermatologist have suggested using plain ole Vaseline. And guess what it works its the best thing to use and the least expensive.
