Is 0.5 % cortisone cream safe to put on my babys face?

My almost 2 month old still has baby acne flare ups and really dry skin. My girlfriend has a baby as well and used this on her face and it cleared up. Im getting mixed feelings about putting this product on her face. I know its only suppose to be used a couple of times sparingly.....what do you think? Is 0.5 % cortisone cream safe to put on my babys face?
I would clear it with the pediatrician before I put anything on the babies face.

I would weird out about her touching her face and then putting her hands in her mouth. Is 0.5 % cortisone cream safe to put on my babys face?
i dont know bout straight cortisone. when my baby had that problem i put hydocortisone 1% it is sold over the counter and u only need it 2 times a day . this will help mosturize your childs face alittle better. but i would advise takin him to the doctor to have ti checked
I was told to put nothing on baby's face. Baby acne will clear up on it's own. Plain water can dry a baby's face, maybe less bathing?
At 2 months I wouldn't unless I got the okay from the doc first.
no, do not use on a baby's face.
When my baby had the acne problem her doctor prescribed something specifically for that. when my sister asked her babies doctor for a prescription she was told that it was normal and it would clear up on its own--which it did. i would consider talking to the doctor first it is really bothering you. just remember everyone's body/skin is different and what worked for your friend's baby may not work for you.
No, do not use that on a baby's face. Baby acne will clear up on it's own. If it is really serious, consult with the baby's pediatrician.
